Overnight at your hotel in Tangier

Start your day by a walking tour of the Medina of Tangier, the souk and the kasbah then Continue to Tetouan, You will

spend few hours exploring this magical city that has been called “Little Jerusalem” or “Daughter of Granada”. The

Medina (Old Town) is somehow the smallest compared to other Moroccan old towns but has been almost untouched

since its foundation apart from few buildings that were saved by the UNESCO. Tetouan was expanded by the Jewish &

Moorish Aristocrats who were expelled from Andalusia during the Reconquista, a fact that can be seen from the

interior of some of its buildings with its wrought iron grills, stucco work, woodcarvings, Zelij tiles and much more.

In the afternoon, continue to Chefchaouen. The blue Town, a custom that dates back to the 15th century, when an

influx of Jews escaping the Spanish Inquisition settled in Chefchaouen. They brought along the tradition of painting

buildings blue to mirror the sky and remind them of God, the city is noted for its buildings in shades of blue, it offers

many native handcrafts, such as wool garments and woven blankets. Your visit of the blue city will includes :Ras el-

Maa— Located outside of the medina walls, a small waterfall where locals gather here during the hot months to cool

off and, oftentimes, to do laundry. The Al Makhzen market, The Kasbah and the central mosque along with the many

cafes where you can sit out, enjoy the sun and just watch people pass. It is one of the best places to relax after all that.

Then you will explore the city’s small and attractive medina and shop at the souks. The charming medina is

characterized by the typical blue Andalusian architecture including arches, small squares and fountains.

Overnight at your hotel

Today we leave Chefchaouen after breakfast, heading towards Fes a far larger city with a long history, for busy day of

sightseeing. Fes of course has its picture postcard image of the tanneries; it is however so much more. The medina

itself is listed as a World Heritage Site and indeed it is a marvel. From the rooftops of the of the souq we look across

the renowned tanneries where people create spellbinding colours from a variety of natural dyes using it to stain high

quality leather, which is also prepared at the site. The whole vision is quite unforgettable! Nearby we pass through

carpet shops where skilled women weave rugs in a traditional manner. The aroma of the local cuisine greets us warmly

on every corner.

The medina is a hive of activity, handicrafts and artisan produce, all squeezed into streets wide enough only for a

donkey, an experience to be witnesses rather than described.

After breakfast our day will transport us back to times long gone, prepare once more for sensory bombardment in the

ancient imperial capital that is Fes !

Fortunately you will have the whole day to take in the haunting sounds, swirling colours, and pungent aromas as we

guide you through the narrow lanes that form the maze that is Fes el Bali.

We visit Bouanania Medersa, with its Andalusian architecture it boasts an airy courtyard surrounded by traditional zellij

mosaic work and particularly striking carvings, including the unique water clock.

Open to non-Muslims this Islamic school gives us respite from the city like an oasis in the desert.

Fes is a city of doorways, each opening onto its own secrets and some of which are visit worthy in themselves, hence

we go to The Kings Palace door with its ornate golden splendour and the Moorish- styled iconic Bab Boujloud which is

the western gateway to Fez el Bali. We meander through the Mullah, the old Jewish quarter, known for the

architecture of its balconies.

After breakfast this morning we head towards Marrakech with the image of Jemaa el Fna eagerly swirling in our

heads, but as in Fes this Famous medina exceeds all expectation. Jemaa el Fna is like a welcoming party awaiting your

arrival from Fes.

Beautiful lights hammered into brass and silver guide our way through the bustling streets as they swing from their stalls

reflecting on inlaid wooden furniture arranged beneath. People of all ages wander safely and comfortably through the

medina at night enjoying the sounds of the Berber music; the traditional games played by adults and children alike,

the wonderful ice-cream and milkshakes with new flavours to experience and countless stalls displaying traditional

Moroccan food. Meanwhile street entertainers and performers keep everyone entertained.

tonight will be in Marrakech and your hotel will be a place of relaxation before one more day to explore the

sights and delights of the city

Good Morning Marrakech! After breakfast, meet your guide forthe historical visit of Marrakesh, known as the

“Pink Pearl of the South”, includes: The famous Majorelle Gardens. Designed by the French Artist, Jacques

Majorelle in 1924, and purchased by Yves St Laurent in 1980, Majorelle score a treasure of 300 species of

plants from 5 continents, including cacti palms and aquatic plants. The famous Koutoubia Mosque and the

magnificent Bahia Palace with its extraordinary tiles, opulent courtyards and fountains built by Sultans amidst

as two acre garden.

Our tour will finish by the famous breathing Djma-el-Fna Square, the heart of Marrakesh, where after sunset

the fortune tellers, acrobats, vendors, snake charmers and magicians put on a never-ending show

Overnight at your hotel

After breakfast drive towards the Kik Plateau where you will stop for refreshments form a high vantage point,

before then taking the road to the village of Moulay Brahim, with its famous holy shrine. Finally the road

descends into the market town of Asni at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. Passing through orchards of apple,

cherry and apricot trees you descend towards the agricultural plains of Marrakech.

This is a region of Berber communities and you’ll see the distinctive villages with their trademark mud brick

architecture throughout the countryside. I recommend visiting a Berber house with your guide, where you can

try Morocco’s national drink of sweet mint tea, with the family of the house.

The mountains that surround Imlil village are particularly good for trekking, and it’s from here you can ascend

Mount Toubkal, the highest summit of the Altas. You can also visit an Argan Oil Cooperative or Saffron

plantations and nectarine gardens, where orange flowers and roses are grown for Moroccan essential oils.

Late afternoon check-in at your hotel and free time.
